The non- profit No Longer Empty has set out to revitalize The Andrew Freedman Home that was built in the Bronx in 1924 as a retirement home for formerly wealthy senior citizens. Today the former lavish establishment, serves as a worn down day care center and event space for the Bronx community. Contemporary artists from all over the world were invited to do installations and pieces in the abandoned rooms.  The opening reception for ‘This Side of Paradise” will be held on April 4th from 6pm – 8pm.
