After lawyers Craig Sonner and Hal Uhrig announced that they no longer represented George Zimmerman, no one seems to know the whereabouts of the 28 year old that shot and killed Trayvon Martin in Florida on February 26.
Earlier this week Florida state attorney Angela Corey announced that there would not be a grand jury investigation into Trayvon’s murder,however, she did announce today that she would be charging Zimmerman in Martin’s death. But in perhaps the most bizzare of all of these extraordinary developments in this high profile case,czimmerman made a key phone call yesterday to Jacksonville to speak directly with State Attorney Corey.
George Zimmerman launched a website www.therealgeorgezimmerman.com to solicit funds for living expenses and legal fees. It is suspected that Zimmerman, who was never charged, has used the site to gain funds to leave the country. It is well known that the neighborhood watch volunteer who pursued then shot the unarmed teenager has many supporters, those who now can anonymously offer financial support to Zimmerman via PayPal.
Zimmerman’s former lawyers say that they believe that Zimmerman has not yet left the country, but he has definitely left the Sunshine State.
