The new Scion FR-S, which was engineered by Subaru and Toyota combined, is out and just recently has been test driven. When it comes to the FR-S compared to the Subaru BRZ, the FR-S is a tad lighter (only by about 10lbs) and has a more firm suspension then the Subaru and its 0-60 time is only .2 seconds shorter. The boxer engine which was designed by Subaru is only pushing 200hp but when you throw in the weight factor of this vehicle, you can expect a quick and nimble machine. The FR-S is a straight up rear wheel drive, old fashioned sports car.  Scion’s price range for the car can land on about $24,500 and up depending on options.
