Don’t front, you know you can’t escape the catchiness of the hit record “Cashin’ Out,” by ATL’s own Cash Out. Well, thesource.com caught up with the Epic recording artist to get to know a little about him. Here’s what he had to say:

On how he started his rap career:

I’m from Atlanta, the heart of Atlanta. When I started my rap career, it was like three years ago. I was in a trial situation. I took things to trial, and beat the case. As I’m walking out the court room, one of the jurors came to me, and they’re not even supposed to come to you, and said ‘You know we gave you another chance right?’ So I’m thinking when I’m leaving ‘God sent me an angel letting me know I need to get right b/c he gave me a chance. I took heed to that. I was still in a group with one of my potnas and he was like ‘Get on this song with me, come rap with me.’ So I’m just killing time and I get on the song. I kill it. I said something about Cash out and he [group member] was like ‘That’s your rap name right there.’ So I ran with Cash Out. I dropped my first street single, ‘I Got It’ in Atlanta, and I been rocking since. I put that out myself, and it got over a million views on Youtube.

On when he knew “Cashin’ Out” was a certified hit:

When I saw it drop in the clubs and folks went crazy. I seen it before with my other street singles but it was in certain clubs I never got play in. When I saw it getting play in different clubs, like Velvet Room I was like, ‘This is the one.’

Artists who have shown him love:

I salute everybody who reached out to me showing love. Rihanna, the other day, Keri Hilson, a lot of people. It was special when Rihanna tweeted it because I’m like, ‘Man, that’s like a mega pop star that’s feeling my music.’ She got me like 5,000 new followers in one day because of that!
