As previously reported, Lil Kim‘s “Return Of The Queen” tour rolled into New York last Friday.

Touching down in the Bronx’s Paradise Theater and in Albany’s Northern Lights, the Queen Bee took the stage for two sold out crowds and delivered a set full of her greatest hits, ranging from her iconic debut to her recent string of mixtapes.

Kim danced her way through a handful of songs, interacting with her always-loyal fans who sang along word for word. Everyone was on their feet, some standing on chairs, to cheer on the pint size icon at her long awaited return to the stage.

The tour, which is billed as “Lil Kim & Friends”, lived up to that name. Aside from opening acts Cassidy, Papoose and Saigon, Fred the Godson and Juelz Santana also made guest appearances. But it was the women of hip-hop who came out in drones to show their support. Missy Elliott and Eve took the stage with Kim night one to perform their 1999 hit “Hot Boyz”, while Pepa, Babs Bunny and Somaya Reece kicked it backstage, with Babs re-emerging night two to join Kim as she performed her 2005 single “Lighters Up”. Drita D’avanzo from Mobb Wives even hopped on stage, firing through Kim’s verse on “All About The Benjamin’s”, as an excited Kim watched.

She also treated fans to an afterparty hosted Friday night in NYC’s Culture Club before hopping in her tour bus and heading up to Albany.

Putting to rest the thought that women in hip-hop just can’t get along, Kim confirmed that she’s already got a record in the bag with Eve and Missy and is still working on her documentary and book.

Make sure you check out Kim when her tour resumes in Vermont.
