Oklahoma City Thunder showed the world what they’re capable of last night by kicking the Lakers out of the series with 4-1. With Russell Westbrook’s 28 points and Kevin Durant’s 25 points and 10 rebounds the two all stars came together to put Kobe and the Lakers to rest. Now you would think that Kobe Bryant would have came in the fourth and pulled through, which he did coming in with 42 points. But apparently that wasn’t good enough showing the world that TEAM is absolutely needed in basketball. OKC stood strong in the fourth “We know that’s the most important time of the game, especially in a tight game. I think that we kept our composure throughout the fourth, and our poise, and we made plays” said by Kevin Durant.

On the Lakers end Gasol came through with 23 points, 17 rebounds, and 6 assists, while Steve Blake scored 19 points. Which seems like a safe game until realizing that Kobe had no assists in this game, adding to the fact that Gasol was not aggressive enough to stop Westbrook, Durant or even Harden. Although Kobe Bryant scored 40+ points this game making it the second time he did so in the playoffs, his team just so happened to lose both of those games. Proving to the world that there is no I in TEAM.
