At HOT 97’s Summer Jam, G.O.O.D. Music proved they are one big happy family; during a Shaheem Reid interview, 2 Chainz praised Kanye’s ability to foresee what the public desires and produce a track to satisfy that need. He called Yeezy a “Back To The Future type dude” in regards to ‘Mercy:’ “when I did this record I had no idea it was gonna be a single. I had no idea the potential of this record and that kinda just shows you the vision that ‘Ye got.”
Big Sean also showed some love to G.O.O.D during the interview; he expressed how impressed he was of 2 Chainz’ ability to “turn it up to the max,” and went as far as saying “he was one of the people that showed me anything is possible.”
Clearly G.O.O.D. Music is content with the team they have, and most importantly, happy to follow their leader, Kanye West. If they keep working together and releasing tracks like ‘Mercy,’ who knows where they will go.
