Why didn’t Nas perform at Summer Jam back in 2002? Well some unreleased footage reveals that Nas was going to hang Jay-Z, not the real Jay-Z but a fully mechanical form of Jay-Z. Nas intended to do this in front of the sell out crowd until Hot 97 refused him resulting in Nas’ departure from the event. I wasn’t there at Summer Jam 2002, but one could only imagine the impact this would’ve had on the crowd and hip-hop.
