Pagani has just released its new “street” machine, the Huayra. Its name comes from the wind god from the Andes, which is Huayra-Tata. The new Huayra is going to be the company’s new flagship car is the successor of the famous Pagani Zonda. The new Huayra is stated to perform speeds up to 230mph. Reason why it will be able to reach these speeds is because of Mercedes-Benz’s AMG M158 engine, which is a twin turbo, V12 engine. (This is the same engine found in the Benz SL65 AMG Black Series, but with some modifications requested from Pagani.) This exotic is putting out about 700hp and 664 lb-ft of torque, and thats only the standard model. The sport model will be boosted up to a 730hp and 811 lb-ft of torque, and can hit a 0-60 speed in 3.3 seconds.

One thing that we didn’t see coming is the price tag of the Huayra. Its predecessor, the Zonda, had a price of a little over $300k, which alone is a lot of dough. Now comes the Huayra coming in at a whopping $1.4 million, and thats not even the price of the sport model.
