LaDainian Tomlinson is calling it quits as the San Diego Chargers are to re-sign the man they drafted back in 2001. LT had an illustrious career with the team as he will go down as one of the greatest running backs ever to play the game of football. In 2001 the Chargers selected LaDainian Tomlinson with the 5th overall pick where he would go on to play in a Chargers uniform until 2010, where he finished out his career as a member of the Jets. The accolades of LT are impressive to say the least where he is 5th on the NFL all-time rushing list (13,684 yards), he is second on the all time rushing touchdowns list (145 TDs), and he is third all-time in total touchdowns (162). The 2006 MVP and rushing title winner of 2006 and 2007 will hold a press conference with the Chargers president Dean Spanos to announce his retirement on Monday at 2pm.
