Rumors have been floating around that Busta Rhymes got into a physical altercation with Power 105.1’s Charlamagne Tha God during a pre-Bet Awards Celebration honoring Melanie Fiona at Nobu.
The altercation brewed due to a misunderstanding regarding a Wendy Williams interview in 2004 where Busta Rhymes felt Charlamagne disrespected him. Charlamagne, who started co-hosting with Wendy William in 2006 to the end of 2008, was confused over Busta’s acusation.
Obviously, Charlamagne and the Breakfast Club have put Busta in the “freezer,” which is dedicated to rappers’ careers that are on ice, giving Busta the right to be heated. But both Charlamagne and Busta spoke on the altercation and confirmed it was strictly verbal and no fists were thrown.
