The Boston Celtics have reached an agreement with Dallas Mavericks free-agent guard Jason Terry according to Yahoo Sports. The Celtics will use their $5 million mid-level exception to sign Terry to a three-year contract to be worth more than $15 million. Like other free agents the he can’t sign until July 11th. The Celtics still have hopes of re-signing free agent Ray Allen. Terry averaged 15.1 points and 3.6 assists while shooting 37.8 percent from 3-point range last season for Dallas.
