Center Brook Lopez has reached an agreement with the Brooklyn Nets on four-year $61 million max deal.  Lopez was a key factor in a potential trade that would send Dwight Howard to the Nets but with this deal in place the pursuit for Dwight is officially over.  Lopez cannot be traded until January 15th.  Today talks between the Nets and Orlando Magic broke down once again and the Nets decided it was time to move forward and explore their other options.  The Magic has officially closed trade talks for now as they informed Dwight Howard.  They will now turn their attention to replacing former coach Stan Van Gundy.  Lopez, 24-years-old and 7 feet tall averages, 17.4 points, 7.5 rebounds and 1.6 blocks for his career.   He averaged 19.2 points last season before going out with a foot injury.
