The NFL safety for the Washington Redskins, Sean Taylor, was shot and killed during a burglary in Miami in 2007.

According to AP, the man being accused of the shooting, Eric Rivera Jr., is set to appear in court November 5 on orders from Miami-Dade Circuit Judge Dennis Murphy.

The trial was delayed when Rivera, one of five accused of murdering Sean Taylor, fired his defense attorney. The other four pleaded and are being tried separately, each facing a life sentence if found guilty.

A fifth man, who previously pleaded guilty to both charges (murder and burglary) is expected to testify against the others on trial.
