The Source Magazine was on the red carpet for the NY Premiere of a compelling documentary being release by Indomina Releasing (Ice-T’s “Something from Nothing: The Art of Rap”) and A&E IndieFilms called THE IMPOSTER. The screening took place at Cinema 123 and was presented by The Peggy Siegal Company.
Hip-Hop pioneer Fab Five Freddy was in attendance and he joined Director Bart Layton at the after-party, which was at Le Cirque. Fab told us that he is making fine art and painting and he has various television and film projects in development. He is mostly producing, but may direct if the right project comes along. He says that one of his paintings will be auctioned off at Sotheby’s this fall, so keep on the look-out for that!
The Imposter is now playing. It is one of the best documentaries we have seen all year and has won much critical acclaim.

His family is ecstatic to have him back no matter how strange the circumstances – but things become far stranger once he returns to Texas.
