Linsanity was good while it lasted for Knicks fan, becase at the moment it seems as if Lin will become a Houston Rocket. The Knicks were going to match the Rockets offer sheet of $28.9 million that had a guarantteed $19 million over four years. The Rockets then ruined the Knicks plans by giving Lin a $15 million third year of his contract, which would put the Knicks over the luxury tax.
What do the Knicks do now? The Knicks have traded Jared Jefferies and Dan Gadzuric to the Portland Trailblazers as part of a sign and trade for PG Raymond Felton. Felton had a successful stint with the Knicks before he was a part of the Carmelo Anthony trade.
