The Brooklyn Nets secure a key piece to their roster by re-signing forward Kris Humphries. The deal is reportedly worth $24 million over two-years according to ESPN’s Marc Stein. Humphries was originally part of complicated trade talks that would bring Dwight Howard to the Nets but since those fell through they re-signed him to a hefty contract. The eight-year veteran averaged 13.8 points and 11 rebounds per game last season.
Kris tweeted this famous lyric from Kanye’s song Theraflu to show his excitement, too funny:
I’m up at Brooklyn!@S_C_“lucky I didn’t have Jay drop me from the team” lol!
