Last week the Latin Mixx Conference and Awards for 2012, were held in New York City. The event was presented by Hennessy and it honored Reggeton artist Tego Calderon and Mayra Veronica for their contributions to music. Tego participated in a panel where he advised aspiring musicians how to advance in the music industry. Also part of the panel that spoke on social media was our very own Kim Osorio, which expressed the importance of staying relevant in social media. The growth of the conference & awards further reflects the ever growing influence of Hispanic culture, and specifically Latin music.
