Hip-Hop held a heavy heart during the taping of the BET Hip-Hop Awards. A tribute for Chris Lighty was planned and executed with various artists hitting the stage in memory of the late executive.
Two names that surprised everyone were Fat Joe and 50 Cent who put their differences aside to honor Lighty. One fan tweeted “@AR_Knight: Now that @50cent & fatjoe squashed things a dope collabo would be nice….” 50 would go on to respond “Ill check it out.”
