Another unbeaten team falls
Looks like we’ll have a new number one team next week as NC State defeated Duke this afternoon. The Blue Devils faced off against in state rival NC State in Raleigh as a part of the beginning of ACC conference play. It was an uphill battle for the number one team in the country as a road is always tough but it’s even tougher when you lose you starting center to injury.
Center Ryan Kelly is indefinitely out with a foot injury which in turn allowed NC State to use their big men to their advantage. Powered by a 25-point performance from Forward CJ Leslie the Wolfpack were able to topple the Blue Devils 84-76. These two teams will face off again when NC State travels to Duke on February 7th.
