The mega music mogul is not finished in the world of entertainment. With a Grammy award, Golden Globe, and contract with Covergirl Cosmetics under her belt, she has shown no signs of slowing down. The Queen is coming to daytime TV with a new talk show set to air on the fall 2013 line up on CBS. “The Queen Latifah Show” is not The Queen’s first time on daytime TV, she hosted a show of The same name that aired from 1999-2001 that garnered huge success.

Reportedly, her new Sony Pictures show will focus on celebrity interviews, music performances, human interest stories, and a blend of comedy and music into her hosting duties. Not only will this show be aired in the US, “The Queen Latifah Show” will be shown on 16 CBS owned and operated channels across the globe.

Queen Latifah’s Flavor Unit Entertainment, and Will and Jada Smith’s Overbrook Entertaiment companies closed the deal with CBS after a year of negotiations and development for the daytime show. Excutive produced by the Queen herself with Will and Jada, this show is definitely going to add some new “Flavor” to CBS. “The Queen Latifah Show” will be sharing the Fall 2013 line-up with a few daytime heavy hitters, such as Judge Judy, Dr. Phil, and Rachel Ray. Over the years, Queen Latifah is known for holding her own and dominating the entertainment industry by always putting “ Ladies First”. There may be a new Queen of daytime and her name is Latifah!
