Fox has picked up a huge name for it’s new project Gang Related, which will make its way to your television later this year. The upcoming crime-drama starring Jay Hernandez and Ramon Rodriguez, “revolves around Ryan Lopez, a gang member sent in to infiltrate the San Francisco Police Department and rise through its ranks, who must balance his obligations to his crime family, the gang from his old neighborhood, with an increasing sense of loyalty to his new family, the SFPD’s Gang Task Force”
It has now been announced that RZA has been booked as a series regular for the project. The Wu-Tang member will star as Cassius who is Ryan Lopez’s right-hand man. This will mark RZA’s first role as a series regular. After a successful run with his directorial debut The Man with the Iron Fists, starring in the upcoming G.I. Joe: Retaliation, and hitting the small screen with Gang Related, the rapper turned actor has found himself surrounded by enormous success.
