The words “B-ball” and “people” were accidentally mistaken.

Its easy to sing along to the “Fresh Prince of Bel Air” theme song that is unless you’re from Ambridge H.S. A school official misheard a students ring tone, “Shooting some b-ball outside of the school” for “Shooting some PEOPLE outside of the school.”

That mistake lead to a massive school district lock down. According to various news sources a 19-year-old student was called by a school official bout an optometrist appointment, instead the receptionist got the student’s “Fresh Prince” voicemail.

After contacting Police, the entire school district was put on lockdown. Police took the student in for questioning and after a little less than an hour took a sigh of relief. The district’s superintendent released a statement following the incident, “It gave us a wonderful chance to review our emergency procedures.”
