Despite not having a hit record in about 4 years, Soulja Boy has managed to stay afloat. While signed to Interscope, he involved himself with numerous artists and managed his own independent label. Now no longer under Interscope, Soulja boy’s been seen with Birdman on numerous occasions. After getting Rich Gang tattooed on his face and adding YMCMB to his bio on Twitter, its safe to say that a deal with YMCMB is either in the works or already completed.
This move would be yet another high profile acquisition for the Weezy-helmed label, and Soulja Boy would probably be able to put out another hit. It’s been 3 long years since he hit us with his last banger, “Speakers Going Hammer.”
