The field of 64 is set
With the NCAA Tournament moving to 68 teams last season instead of one play-in game the tournament has now moved to four play-in games due to the added teams. During the last two days eight teams played their hearts out to make it into the field of 64, and it shaped out like this,
James Madison def. LIU Brooklyn 68-55
La Salle def. Boise State 80-71
North Carolina A&T def. Liberty 73-72
Saint Mary’s def Middle Tennesse 67-54
With each of those wins comes new matchups, (16) North Carolina A&T will now play (1) Louisville, (13) La Salle will play (4) Kansas State, (11) Saint Mary’s will play (6) Memphis, and (16) James Madison will take on (1) Indiana.
Anything can happen when tournament time rolling around, but if there is one matchup out of these four that have upset potential it is the La Salle vs Kansas State matchup. The NCAA Tournament resumes tomorrow at noon.
