When Al Pacino dropped the famous line “Say hello to my little friend,” all bets were off for how successful Scarface would become. The Oliver Stone written remake of the 1932 Scarface has become a staple in the crime genre. Scarface ended up on several American Film Institute’s lists landing in the Top 10 Gangster films and #61 for Tony Montana’s infamous line.
Scarface has spawned several comics and video games as well as being a “go to” for pop culture references. Starring alongside the explosive Al Pacino; Michelle Pfeiffer, Steven Bauer, and Robert Loggia deliver an incredible project. Becoming a box-office hit and being regarded as an extremely successful film there is no doubt Scarface will continue to live on through generations to come.
