One man takes ‘Breaking Bad’ to another level.

Long running television shows tend to foster a huge fan base with millions of viewers professing their love for their favorite characters and seasons on their Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr, Instagram, basically anywhere they can share their thoughts on the latest happenings with the hit shows.  Then you have the small minority that takes their fandom a little too far and cross the line into illegal behavior.

Xavier McAfee has been charged with smashing actor Bryan Cranston’s car window and stealing the actor’s bag containing his iPad and the script to “Breaking Bad.” An employee of Cranston, Taryn Feingold, was contacted by an anonymous informant who overheared McAfee brag about having the script at a local bar.

The script and the other stolen items have yet to be recovered but the police are still investigating.  The final season is set to air in July and there has been no indication that the possible leak of the storyline will effect the upcoming season.

Sony has issued the following statement regarding the situation:

“We applaud the efforts of the Albuquerque police in their arrest of the alleged perpetrator and we look forward to sharing the incredible last season with viewers when the series premieres later this year.”
