Jay-Z’s growing company Roc Nation, teams up with the West coast and signs producer DJ Mustard for a management deal. Now teaming up with Roc Nation, Dj Mustard will be under industry executive, Jay Brown’s shadow for guidance and will be joining other big names, such as, J,Cole, Wale, Rihanna and Jay Electronic.
Mustard made a statement to hiphopwired stating,
“I’m excited to take my career to the next level with RocNation, and Jay Brown!” “Looking forward to working with RocNation artists.”
For those who are unfamiliar with DJ Mustard, he is a 22 year-old producer who created hits like”I’m Different,” by 2 Chainz and Tyga’s “Rack City.” It’s obvious why the Roc would sign this young gentleman, the dude makes hits, having him aboard is a great decision for both Mustard and Roc Nation.
Dj Mustard will be making an appearance at the Red Bull Music Academy Festival in New York City on May 22.
