This year’s annually extravagant Metropolitan Ball was to fete the Costume Institute’s exhibit Punk: Chaos to Couture that will be on display to the public on May 9 to August 14 at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York. As always, the stars of entertainment, fashion, and sports came out in their overtly stylized best and from the hip-hop world (and a few of its outside favorites), our finest from last night, including Kim Kardashian’s much publicized first appearance at the esteemed gala. #MetBall2013
