Brooklyn’s own Mr. MFN eXquire is back from a hiatus to deliver the first single off of his upcoming mixtape, Kismet. The song’s title, “Noble Drew Ali”, is inspired by Timothy “Noble Drew Ali” Drew who founded the Moorish Science Temple in 1913. Over some eerie production by Constrobuz, eXqo drops some clues as to his brief absence and the frustrations that accompany a career in rap music. The Universal Republic rhymeslinger partakes in his usual vices to help cope with the complexities of his current state of affairs; the result is eXquire waxing some introspective poetics that give a glimpse at his outlook on rap life.

Mr. MFN eXquire’s Kismet project is slated to arrive later this month and will feature Danny Brown, Flatbush Zombies and The Passion (Goldie Glo, Heron, Gorgeous Black and Corey Briccz).
