Due to a controversial incident in late 1991, business became a little unusual. According to reports, Parrish Smith’s home was robbed and according to a police investigation, one of the culprits confessed that Sermon was behind the robbery. With Sermon only being questioned and no charges filed, it led to the two having deep-rooted tensions. Their solo ventures quickly followed with Sermon debuting in 1993 with No Pressure, followed by Double or Nothing in 1995. Since, the duo has had another break up and two more reunions.
