The UK division of Kiss FM has just dropped a bomb on the industry via Twitter, letting loose with this tweet, before replying to a fan with this one, confirming that Def Jam themselves has confirmed with the station the Kanye West will be releasing his upcoming 6th studio album on June 18th in the United States. We all pretty much knew that, especially considering his appearance on the season finale of Saturday Night Live and his tendency to debut new music at the most random of venues (The Metropolitan Museum Of Art and Kith), that we’d be getting a new album from the G.O.O.D. Music frontman very soon, but official confirmation helps. Now, the moment we’ve all been waiting for will be here tomorrow night, when West will reportedly perform two new songs from the upcoming album on the season finale of NBC’S flagship late night show, SNL. In the illustrious words of ‘Ye himself, “Yesus. Next month”.
