Are Boyz II Men Doing Another Old Navy Commercial? Right before Boyz II Men heads out on tour with 98 Degrees and New kids on The Block they stopped by the 2013 Billboard Music Awards. We caught up with the Boyz on the blue Billboard carpet at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas and discovered that they have another Old Navy Commercial in the works!

Question: Tell us about the tour?
Boyz II Men: Yeah, this is our first time working with those two groups, 98 Degrees and New kids on The Block, but we have known them for years and they have been our friends for a long time. We all just decided that this would be a great time to put something together like this…it’s a great thing for the fans.. it’s a great thing for us… it’s a wonderful experience we go out on the road in 10 days. High energy ! And memories! Yeah, just make sure that your camera has a lot of batteries.
Question: You guys are no strangers to the Billboard awards?
Boyz II Men: Yeah this is kind of home for us. It is a part of who we are.
Question: Tell us, what happened to you guys just a second ago?
Boyz II Men: Oh, it was great! I mean they [the fans] started singing “End of The Road.” Sometimes when you have been doing this so long you kind of think…you fade out, just a bit, but I mean there were some people in the audience who weren’t even born when we did this [recorded “End of The Road”] So, obviously somebody must be listening to the music–it is exciting.
Question: Who here tonight has Boyz II Men staying power?
Boyz II Men: Well, Prince! That is why he is here. We believe Justin Bieber could as long as he stays on the right path. We think he is very talented. So those are a couple of performances we are looking forward too seeing.
Question: Why did you guys do the Old Navy Commercial?

Boyz II Men: Cause they [Old Navy] asked us and it was funny! A lot of people just know us for singing. We are kind of a little funny here and there so we thought it would be a great thing to do. That was actually our second commercial. We did one for the holidays last year with Jordan knight from New Kids on The Block with Old Navy and we are actually lining up another one. We got a lot of different things going on right now.
Question: Honoring Prince tonight, what is your favorite Prince song? Boyz II Men: Its difficult to say because we are humongous Prince fans! So everything about Prince! All his music! I mean there is really not one we can pick. I mean we are just huge Prince fans.
Question: Is there anything new your fans will learn about Boyz II Men on this upcoming tour?
Boyz II Men: We just want to keep in their minds that we are singers and performers first and that is why we got in the business and we like to show the longevity of good music. People don’t really understand that anymore because music comes and goes now a days, but the fact that we are able to sell out the venues- we have- let’s us know that our fans are still into good music.
