Tyrin Turner, or as most may know as “Caine” from the movie Menace II Society, made his rounds this week in New York City to celebrate the 20th Anniversary of the classic hood flick. If you have yet to watch Menace II Society I recommend you do so! It’s been regarding as one of the best and most powerful movies of our time and culture.
Turner’s character of “Caine” remains a very important figure in todays Hip-Hop. He most recently appeared in Rick Ross’ “Box Chevy” video, and continues to get namedropped in the lyrics of todays younger generation of rappers.
We had the chance to chop it up with Tyrin during his stay in NYC. Check out our interview with the 41 year old actor as we speak to him about the impact of the movie, and his current projects. Tyrin even does a classic line from the movie for us!
