The empire strikes again! Jay-Z’s got his hands in everything, as any mogul or formidable business man should. He continues to fortify his reign within the game, post musical dominance, Jay-Z continues to be a strong figure in business and enterprise. Most recently, the Roc Nation Sports co-founder is rumored to be finalizing a six figure deal with Samsung to launch a music streaming service that will promote his Roc Nation signees through mobile devices.
Since the recent birth of Roc Nation Sports, Jay-Z has suitably been making headlines. Adding collegiate stars and professional all-stars alike to the roster at his agency. According to sources, the deal should be finalized within the next couple of weeks.
Following up his move into sports, in April, Jay-Z and Roc Nation confirmed a partnership with Universal Music Group and Live Nation, a deal worth $150 million. This deal would add to a portfolio brimming with high profile business moves for Jay. ThE new streaming service will definitely contend with that of Jimmy Iovine and Dr. Dre’s Daisy, putting Jay-Z in the middle of another hip-hop entreprise.
