The Gifted is almost ready to go.
Wale‘s highly anticipated third album, The Gifted, is hitting shelves June 25th, and one rather arbitrary detail about the LP is his interesting album cover selection. Superseding a hand-drawn background of money, cars and women is a very detailed sculpture of Wale from the torso up. Though the meaning of the cover could seem rather obvious to some, Wale took the time out to discuss the significance of it to him and his music in a segment shot by MMG’s go-to videographer DRE Films. Enjoy the clip, and get ready for his new single, “Clappers” to be out any day now, and the album on June 25th.
