The most wonderful feeling I ever felt in my life. I get to live my life over through my child.

3. What advice can you give first time parents?
There are certain things you have to learn. Words like sacrifice, love, appreciation, respect, balance & patience come to mind, apply it to raising your children.

4. How do you balance parenting with your social/professional life?
Its hard, but you have to figure it out. I try to spend my weekends with my son as much as I can. Even on the road or in the recording studio I find time to communicate. A telephone call to check in or a Skype session is important to me. Letting him know I am there and I care about him can go a long way.

5. One word to describe being a father?
Absolutely Wonderful!

1. What was the first thing that came to mind when you heard the news you were a going to be a father?
Nothing but happiness; fatherhood is one if the coolest things you can do in life.

2. Our slogan at Baby Dadda is “Creating Life, Duplicating Style”. Can you share what it’s like seeing yourself in your child?
They both believe they are funny, so yea, I’ll let them have that. They both have a sense of independence and a do it yourself mentality. Not to mention a handsome young man and a beautiful little girl; I’ll take credit for that. But yes, I see myself in them daily.

3. What advice can you give first time parents?
Take it all in stride, you’ll learn something new every day about yourself as a parent. Always remember they are kids and all they know is what you show and teach them. Get you a nice big bag of patience and you will be breaking up with sleep for about a year. But I repeat, being able to guide someone their life and seeing them develop and grow is one of the greatest things you can do as a human being. Being a parent has no other equal.

4. How do you balance parenting with your social/professional life?
You have to set aside a day or two dedicated solely to your children. Always try showing up to school plays or sports events etc. You just have to cut out the ‘non parent’ BS and remind yourself you know have a carbon copy of you waiting for you to make moves. Social life should take a step back when you become a parent, because you know you have another reason to Live.

5. One word to describe being a father? WORK and my Bonus word would be GREATNESS.

1. What was the first thing that came to mind when you heard the news you were a going to be a father?
It was a blessing. I prayed that the process would be calm and God willing I would have a healthy child with 10 fingers and 10 toes. I just didn’t want to be a father I wanted to be a real father and man. Once I did that I knew I had to be responsible and I knew I would have to be a better person for my little girl.

2. Our slogan at Baby Dadda is “Creating Life, Duplicating Style.” Can you share what it’s like seeing yourself in your child?
It’s crazy because people say I look like my dad and I dispute it EVERYDAY! Lol. But then I realize how much I act like him and it makes me laugh. It’s the same with my daughter seeing her mannerisms is CRAZY. The food she likes, the cartoons and her clothing is SO ME. She’s so much like me that she makes me better.

3. What advice can you give first time parents? Put your faith in God.
You’re too blessed to be stressed. Doesn’t matter how money you have just give unconditional love. Don’t take the little moments for granted because they go really fast. Cherish the time.

4. How do you balance parenting with your social/professional life?
You have to explain to your child that you have to go to work and that you have to go out of town. You can Skype and facetime. I try to interact with her as much as possible. The father/daughter relationship is SO Important. She understands I have to work but for the most part you have to explain that you have to provide for her and I believe she gets it.

5. One word to describe being a father? Blessing.

1. What was the first thing that came to mind when you heard the news you were a going to be a father?
I was overwhelmed with joy and a sense of the realization that I would need to be responsible and work hard to provide for my daughter that was on the way.

2. Our slogan at Baby Dadda is “Creating Life, Duplicating Style”. Can you share what it’s like seeing yourself in your child?
It is intriguing that my own Mother always told that one day I would endure what she was put through! 🙂 It’s exciting and a blessing to see the glimpse of myself in my children. Every day I am reminded of what all of the hard work is for; not only to provide financially, but emotionally and mentally raising strong Men and Women.

3. What advice can you give first time parents?
Love and give your children all of the affection, attention and Love that you possibly can. Always provide a sense of security and being the Parent they can depend on. Nothing is more precious than time.

4. How do you balance parenting with your social/professional life?
My children always come first, however I make time to treat myself with a date night with my wife or watching the game with the fellas. Above all, a healthy balance is vital.

5. One word to describe being a father?
Priceless. Creating a life and being given the blessing and opportunity to raise, build and nurture an individual into this world is priceless. It’s about building a legacy and keeping your Family going.
