Leonardo Dicaprio and Martin Scorsese team up for another epic film.
The fifth edition of a Scorsese directed film starring Leonardo Dicaprio is slated for a November 15th debut. The Wolf of Wall Street is based on the life of Jordan Belfort, a ruthless stockbroker who was convicted of fraud in 1998. Belfort’s memoir inspired the film as it details his “pump and dump” scheme that he ran ater founding Stratton Oakmont, his brokerage firm. The book also served as the inspiration for the movie Boiler Room back in 2000. His inability to cooperate with the FBI and his ever growing ego ultimately landed Jordan Belfort behind bars.
Enter Yeezus. I did mention last week that this is a highly marketable, self-promoting album. It will sell like Doritos. Paramount Pictures swiftly places Black Skinhead on the trailer, merging Kanye with Hollywood a day before Yeezus officially hits shelves.
