With Baby Girl’s untimely death now twelve years in passing, today’s stars of hip-hop are still are seeking to collaborate with the late R&B singer Aaliyah, and the results have been impressively smooth. Chris Brown announced awhile back that his single “They Don’t Know” would feature her vocals, and today the video has dropped. Edited with the design of the “Sin City” and “The Spirit” films in mind, selected jewel tones are vibrantly displayed, as Brown is seen in what looks to be the inner-city of a neighborhood in a grayish-tone. Images of Aaliyah from her videos “Try Again” and “If You’re Girl Only Knew” are projected in the background of a few dance alone scene with Brown.
