So much for supporting hip-hop. How are residents of the Union Square area supposed to do that if all the shelves marked ‘Born Sinner’ at their local, 24-hour Best Buy are empty? That’s the question Drake & J. Cole have inadvertently posed with their impromptu shopping spree, which, among single copies of French Montana, and The Weeknd’s album, included the purchase of every single copy of Born Sinner on sale. At about 1:30 in the morning following Drake’s surprise performance at J. Cole’s double-header Dollar & A Dream concert at Irving Plaza, the duo headed to the department store intent on raising Cole’s album sales tally ever so slightly. Watch the hilarity that ensues, including the receipt that ended up being about Drake’s height.
