Forbidden Fruit is one of the most concrete tracks on Born Sinner. Flying under the radar, we were guided through an interpretation of his album via Miss America, Power Trip, and Crooked Smile. Kendrick’s unassuming entrance leaves the door wide open for Cole to make a good impression in the ladder part of his album. He took advantage, showing his dexterity as a producer sampling Tribe’s Electric Relaxation and providing us with a bevy of one liners.
