The Worm says he deserves the Nobel Peace Prize

The United States and North Korea have not always seen eye-to-eye in regards to politics amongst other things. That being said Dennis Rodman is trying to fix all that by linking Kim Jong-un with Barack Obama. Rodman served as a basketball ambassador during Vice’s coverage of their trip to North Korea.

Due to poor relations between North Korea and the United States not a lot of people knew that Kim Jong-un is actually a huge basketball fan. In one of the oddest turn of events in the history of the world Dennis “The Worm” Rodman was the first American citizen ever to meet Kim Jong-un.

Now Dennis Rodman wants Nobel Peace Prize consideration. In a story with Sports Illustrated, Rodman had this to say about his trip to North Korea;

My mission is to break the ice between hostile countries. Why it’s been left to me to smooth things over, I don’t know. Dennis Rodman, of all people. Keeping us safe is really not my job; it’s the black guy’s [Obama’s] job. But I’ll tell you this: If I don’t finish in the top three for the next Nobel Peace Prize, something’s seriously wrong.

Rodman even went as far as calling Kim Jong-un “really awesome” and a “great friend.”
