Casey Veggies first project since being signed to Roc Nation’s management district and Sylvia Rhone’s Epic label imprint, Life Changes, is a musical palette of the Inglewood native detailing the stories of his journey through just that. Incorporating only one guest rap verse (Dom Kennedy on “She In My Car”), Casey takes his time over extremely provocative production, including live instrumentation from Terrace Martin and the heavenly sound of BJ The Chicago Kid vocals. While most artists tend to gravitate towards being commercially accepted the more they progress in their careers, Veggies isn’t rushing anything. Despite drawing the Jay-Z co-sign long before even releasing his Life Changes project, the young artist is bent on proving himself before walking alongside others, and Life Changes will stand the test of time, and prove to be his best launching pad.
