The Dwight Howard show?
The Dwight Howard suitors are pulling out all the stops in order to win 2013’s Dwight Howard sweepstakes. Today (Monday) Dwight Howard will be meeting with three teams the Houston Rockets, Atlanta Hawks, and Golden State Warriors. Howard today has meet with the Rockets (morning), Hawks (afternoon), and will meet with the Warriors later tonight.
Those who tagged along to the Dwight Howard pitch meeting were James Harden, Chandler Parsons, Coach Kevin McHale, GM Daryl Morey, owner Les Alexander plus Hakeem Olajuwon. Away from the meeting Yao Ming skyped in and Dikembe Mutombo left a video message.
The Lakers who are looking to keep Dwight in the city of angels has reportedly offered Howard his own TV show. The Lakers signed a deal with Time Warner Cable SportsNet in 2012 which is set for 25 years. This presence of Time Warner doesn’t violate the NBA’s ruling, more importantly it assures Dwight Howard that if he stays in L.A. he would get his own show.
