Teams started to drop like flies today, but now one team has landed Dwight Howard. USA Today has reported that the Houston Rockets are the winners of the Dwight Howard sweepstakes. Howard has been terrorizing free agency headlines for the last two years now, so we can only hope that he stays put in Houston.

A move away from Los Angeles was suspected following a tumultuous season by the Lakers. No word on what Howard’s contract will look like as the two sides are still discussing the business side of the deal.

Back to the Lakers, it will be interesting to see who the Lakers now target in free agency. Will we see Josh Smith in a Lakers uniform?
