Today’s Mathematics is Build or Destroy
Peace! Today’s Mathematics is Build or Destroy. The science or act of Building means to add on productively and constructively to any said Cipher. Destroy, which is the polar opposite, means to do away with any and all things that are non-productive and destructive to any said Cipher. Just as the shape of the numeral ‘8’, Build or Destroy possesses the duality of two Ciphers, one positive and one negative. This duality exists in every aspect of life and must be identified in order to know what causes all things to occur that are below and above our level of Understanding.
In order for the urban community in general and Black people in particular to expect changes in how gun related homicides are handled by this country’s justice system, the approach towards how the community handles it must be modified as well. Other communities can take a page from the urban community in Buffalo, New York, which started a group known as “The Street Council”, that takes a first person approach to curbing the violence between the people in that neighborhood. The only way to prevent outsiders from violating you is by preventing your neighbors from violating you. Campus police cannot be expected to protect unsuspecting victims like Omar Sykes, the Howard University student that was shot and killed right next to the HBCU, without expecting the NW DC community to aid in some way in keeping their own community safe. With the previous warnings from the government about the effects of the financial sequester, America saw first hand the negative possibilities of what could happen when we shrink budgets for necessities like air traffic control, with the plane crash in San Francisco. With undertrained flight staffs, we can predict more tragedies like this to come. New Yorkers should be cautious when entering the subway this month, as it has been openly advertised that the city will be testing an invisible, odorless gas that will be released into the air this week in over 20 subway stations. It’s been reported that it’s harmless, but that’s what was said about the airborne sicknesses that has afflicted hundreds of thousands of New Yorkers following 9/11.
Build or Destroy is the natural order of all things in existence because all things must go through this growth process in order to be complete(Born). We must keep in mind that trial in error is a process we must go through in life that teaches us to either swim or sink and the first law of nature is self preservation. The objective of life is survival! Peace!
