It’s About Time
Legendary R&B trio SWV was given the greenlight to launch their debut reality show Sisters With Voices. The show features six one-hour episodes that chronicle the group’s return to the music scene. Cheryl “Coko” Clemons, Leanne “Lelee” Lyons and Tamara “Taj” Johnson broke up in the late 90’s, but then released their album I Missed Us which was Grammy-nominated.
According to Lauren Gellert, WE TV’s senior vice president of original production and development:
“These dynamic women experienced enormous success together, then it all fell apart. United again, the stakes are higher than ever, and so—at times—is the drama and tension. We can’t wait to present this fresh, new series to WE TV viewers.”
The show is set to debut in early 2014. The show is produced by Entertainment One Television with Kate Farrell serving as executive producer.
