Wale’s collaborative partner Tiara Thomas in “Bad,” left to Interscope; Wale feels used.
Wale’s The Gifted hit #1 on Billboard’s Top 200, his single “Bad,” went viral before the success of the album, but it seems there’s something bothering the MMG rapper.
Wale & Tiara Thomas have collaborated since 2010 so her walking out to join Interscope bothered Wale and here’s what he had to say:
“It’s all good. Shout out to Tiara Thomas and her new situation…it’ll take a while for me to do that again. I got trust issues already. I was trying to do something special off loyalty, and based on that, I realized that everybody looking out for themselves. I need to start looking out for myself. I got artists that I am helping but it will never be at that capacity again.”
I doubt this will mean a cease of continued future collaborations between the two but we’ll have to wait and see to find out.
