Maybe Brandy and Kanye should collab one last time, they seem to bring the best out of each other. This is a verse we would’ve expected to hear from Kanye, now, not in 2005. “Funny how these wack n*ggas need my help/Wasn’t around when I couldn’t feed myself,” and “We going to Mass today, I have to pray/besides what the pastor say, I have to say/Since Pac passed away/Most these rappers don’t even deserve a track from me.” This is absolutely conceited and dis-associative but also confident and disappointed Kanye at the same time. Every line seemed to delve deeper and deeper into his soul and purpose, not just for himself but the genre and culture he represented. Your argument as to why this should be any lower than 3 had better be good.
