The first 9 tracks of Yeezus resemble the soundtrack to a clip from the video game version of The Walking Dead. And, in classic Yeezy fashion, after successfully dodging and killing “walkers” for about 30 minutes, he reaches an oasis of sorts, and realizes that he doesn’t need guns, knives, or a bow-and-arrow to get his point across. “Bound 2” is that oasis, and with hilariously relevant lines like “I don’t remember where we first met/but hey, admittin’ is the first step” and “Ain’t nobody perfect/but hey, that backstroke I’m trying to perfect,” you’re bound to fall in love with the Charlie Wilson-assisted close-out song.
